DESCRIPTION
A solid shell with an inflated body whorl, squarish in outline, and a short, pointed spire. The expanded outer lip is almost as high as the apex and is thickened and reflected. The stromboid notch is deep and the siphonal canal is short and broad. Impressed suture is wavy. Body whorl has five spiral nows of knobs , the uppermost row standing out prominently like bony knuckles. Spiral threads on all whorls. Smooth aperture and columella. A transparent callus covers the parietal wall. Creamy, with orange-brown streaks and blotches; the aperture is pinkisk orange.
