Strawberry Top Shell
DESCRIPTION
A solid, robust shell with a tall, pointed spira and a blunt apex. The base is rounded; the whorls are almost straight sided, and are separated by a shallow suture. Coarse spiral ridges on all whorls are strongest at the periphery of the body whorl; obilique growth lines are rather faint. The umbilicus is large and deep, its sides smooth; the columella is smooth and thickened. White or pinkish ground color, with red or gray streaks on the whorls, and dashes and spots on the base; the aperture is pinkish white or grayish color.
